Last year we asked you a handful of questions about pre-existing medical conditions, and we have listed your answers below.

Please read through these answers. If your answers to any of these questions have changed, you will need to update your details before your renewal. You can do this by logging in to your Pedal Cover dashboard.

Have you or any of your travelling companions ever suffered from, been investigated for, treated for or diagnosed with:

Any respiratory condition (relating to the lungs or breathing), heart condition, stroke, Crohn's disease, epilepsy, allergy, Cancer for which you have ever received treatment (including surgery, tests or investigations by a doctor or a consultant/ specialist or prescribed medication).

Any psychiatric or psychological condition (including anxiety, stress and depression) for which you have suffered which you have received medical advice or treatment or been prescribed medication for in the last five years.

Any medical condition for which you have received surgery, in-patient treatment or investigations in a hospital or clinic within the last 12 months, or for which you are prescribed medication.

What do we cover? 

Our Cycling Travel Insurance covers emergency medical care and repatriation if you injure yourself while cycling abroad. 

This is almost always excluded on other policies, or there are strict restrictions on the type of cycling you can do.  

We cover all cycling activities, including downhill mountain biking and triathlon racing. This is in addition to all the usual cover you’d expect for things like trip cancellation or lost baggage.

Pedal Cover’s Cycling Travel Insurance suits people who will be cycling while on holiday and require cover for risks including emergency medical care and repatriation if they injure themselves during a cycling activity. You must make your own decision as to whether this policy is suitable for your specific needs. It is always a good idea to shop around at renewal as another supplier may be able to offer a more competitive premium for your particular circumstances but be careful to compare like-for-like cover.
